Did not give permission to take soft lock off

I was on a top up contract (with a soft lock on my data usage) my contract was coming to an end, when I got a call from the vodacom call centre asking if I wanted to extend my contract, I agreed. However, little to my knowing they changed my contract to an open contract (with no soft lock). I never agreed for the soft lock to be taken off. I was merely extending my existing contract. I now have a massive data bill and have been told my query is invalid. Vodacom must prove to me where I signed and gave them permission to have my soft lock (top up) taken off? This is also not the 1st time this has happened... Please can something be done to this daylight! I have spend thousands every month with Vodacom, I have 3 phone numbers under my name. I would like to take it all away and change service provider as I don't appreciate being taken advantage of by an institution I have supported for many years.
