MTN POOR SERVICE TAKES YOUR MONEY!!!

On 19 July 2013 I gave MTN notice to cancel my contract when it expired on 25 August. I received an e-mail that made me a better offer, which I declined. I then requested confirmation that my contract will be cancelled & my number transferred to prepaid on the 26th August, the day after the contract ended.

I phoned again on 27 Nov, after noticing payments that kept on going off for my "cancelled" contract! I was told to phone the cancellations department the next day, which I did. I was then told to forward the "proof" of cancellation, etc. Which I did! So this morning ANOTHER payment is deducted from my account! So I phoned MTN AGAIN!!! Now I have to wait for them to phone me back... They owe me R800.00!

Might I add, my number has been transferred to prepaid, but I can't buy a bundle to top up... Why not??? Because I am now forced to RICA the number again! I WAS LIVID & YELLED at the person on the other side! She could not see any cancellation!

When complaining to MTN they keep you on the line for AGES!!! Not tending to your problem. They're EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL!!!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
