Failure to cancel contract despite written notice

I gave written notice to 8TA Pavillion to cancel cell phone contract and make sim prepaid from the 4 August 2013- given case number, done with agent Nadeem (1 month before the contract was about to expire) Three months later, my bank statement showed that my bank account was still being debited with monthly amount.
Upon enquiry, I was told there was a mistake at the cancellation department - I had to redo a cancellation form (now for the 2nd time). I requested that I be credited for the months that I was charged after the 4 August 2013 ( /- 4 months). After numerous visits regarding my refunds, I was told by Rowena, another consultant that they would not credit me as on one or two days, FREE calls were made for a few minutes, no expense incurred for call BUT they would take whole months subscriptions

All I have to say is that if 8TA had cancelled contract as given in writing at the correct time (1 month before contract expired) I would not have been in this position, begging for my own money.

If I do not get a refund, I will take this up with consumerwatch, consumer protection act and the ombudsman as I have original copies of both cancellations agreement
