I logged a fault with Telkom on the 31st of October (Ref: 552CTK311013) because my ADSL connection is so slow it is almost unusable. Firstly I was told by the technician (Basie Mabelane) that they are doing an upgrade in the Pretoria area and he will only be able to help me sometime next year. I phoned the call centre and they told me that there is a server error at the exchange Basie Mabelane is working on it, a few days later he told me that the exchange is too far from my address so why was there no problem the first 5 months, did Telkom suddenly move the exchange??? Thursday the 14th I got a sms that my fault was resolved how can the technician close a fault without fixing it fist. On Monday the 18th I logged another fault (Ref: 703CTK181113) and from yesterday I have no connection at all. I get no feedback, I phoned the call centre countless times, it's been 3 weeks now. I'm not going to pay for a service Telkom does not provide. I'm already Throwing money that I paid the external ISP down the drain. So what is going on is Telkom ever going to fix my ADSL line???
