I renewed my contract with Vodacom with a Black Berry Curve in August 2013 where after the phone gave me problems, the track pad does not work, some of the buttons does not work, the phone reboots by itself.

I took the phone in for repairs knowing the phone is still under warranty. After a week and a 1/2 they notified me I must pay R1 710.00. After contacting them querying same they advised there is liquid damage. I ensured them the phone did not fall in water, they advised it can be steam as well. I questioned them by asking "so you can not take your phone to the bathroom listing to music while having a bath", their reply was no. I advised them to return the phone to Vodacom Cresta as they will not get a cent from me. Unfortunately for me I must sit with the contract for another 20 months, but I can ensure them I will never deal with Vodacom ever again.

Just shows there is always a loophole - always a way to milk clients for every cent - ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!
