MTN fails to respond - recycles my numbe

Hello MTN,

I have in the last two weeks finally been able to contact you. This however comes after failed attempts previously. I have had my MTN number for numerous yeas however after traveling out of the country discovered that i could only receive calls but not make outgoing calls. I ended up staying longer than the three months however attempts to get a response from MTN about unlocking my phone for roaming were never responded to. MTN Uganda also tried to make contact but with no luck. Like many others i thought i was out of airtime and loaded more in the hopes that this could salvage the situation.

Now all i get is a rather blank

What in the world is MSISDN? I looked this up but, why hide behind fancy telecomms 'buzz' words?

I am still out of the country with quite a bit of information attached to that number. As per my email communications, please help me understand why i should pay the price for MTN's inability to respond when i most needed assistance?

What is required to re-acquire that number?
