Unable to Upgrade contract

My on Contract has been due for upgrade for almost two months now. On Friday morning I went to the iStore in Sandton to upgrade my contract. After waiting in a queue for more then 2 hours, the consultant finally told me that he cannot upgrade my contract as the system will not allow him to do it. I contacted vodacom Spoke to at least 3 different people and was told the issue would be resolved within 48 hours (The consultant did not specify working hours - check the call). I also contact them again at about midday to request an update as I had asked that this be escalated.

On sunday morning at 9:33 (48 hours later), I made a call to Vodacom to check that the issue is resolved and it is not. The issue was closed, but on contacting the upgrades department seemed to have the same error as before and were unable to confirm that I could now upgrade. The call centre agents have been very polite and professional in dealing with a difficult customer, but this does not help the fact that I am unable to get my new cell-phone.

I will be contacting as many senior members of staff at vodacom to complain from tomorrow if this is not resolved, regardless of their business function.
