Mtn not following the steps for blacklisting

MTN blacklisted me. I took a contract with MTN on December 2010 and in my knowledge the last payment should have been this year Jan, I paid and asked to be switched to prepaid. I was assisted by Dannie from cancellation dep. he also gave a cancellation ref no. I was never contacted to say that I should make payment as my last payment is supposed to be for February this year, I never even received a letter informing me that I would be blacklisted but I was on May this year. On the 4th Nov 2013 I then went to the store in which I bought the phone (Mtn plum springs shopping centre) I spoke to Buti who called the Legal department and apologised about the matter, he then advised me to pay the outstanding R292 at Absa, I paid and brought the proof of payment back to Buti who then scaned it and advised that he e-mailed it to legal and I should call 808 to follow up and that I will be cleared in 14 days, I call the Legal dep yesterday to find out if things have been sorted and spoke to Nomsa who advised that there is no note requesting clearance. I am beyond angry and frustrated as I have to wait again for MTN. I want an explanation from the Manager as there is a process for listing people.
