I applied for an online Vodacom offer on their website for a laptop and 3G bundle. Delivery was offered within 48 hours. Two weeks later the 3G modem arrived without a laptop. The items were ordered as a gift and when delivery did not happen as required, I cancelled the order. Vodacom collected the 3G modem and I understood the transaction was cancelled.

To date then, no laptop received, no 3G modem used. I have been to the Vodaworld customer care twice and ensured they cancelled the line. This done twice where they informed their online department.

I sent various cancellation emails. I contacted the call centre and have reference numbers of the enquiry and pending cancelation.

I have reply emails confirming they have received my cancelation.

To date the, without having received the items ordered, after cancelation of the account, they still deduct the full monthly amount from my account since June.

It had been 5 months with deduction continuing, .

I have 45 other Vodacom lines in my business with a monthly spend of more than R75k, which will shortly be lowered and lines cancelled as they age.
Do not order anything from Vodacom online,!!
