After submitting my Blackberry phone for an insurance over a month ago I still do not have it back. The phone was returned unrepaired, resubmitted, requoted and I have paid my excess and then I waited again. On Friday last week I held on for 49 minutes until someone finally answered and then held on a further 10 while they tried to find out what was happening and I was told my phone was finally ready. I went to collect it, did the back up and restore at the couriers office and it is a faulty phone - it doesn't read the sim card (tried 3 times) - this is the 5th time in 2 claims I have been handed a phone that doesn't work. The courier company tells me this is a common problem.
Then the Courier calls to say Cecilia @ MTN insurance says they won't take the phone back as it is just a software setting and I must contact data services on 1555 which I did and they agree that a phone that can't pick up that there is a sim card is faulty.

The 2 emails I have sent have bounced back because mail boxes are full (well doesn't that speak volumes). The one reply I got via email asked if I had submitted my claim form-I was complaining about receivinga faulty replacement phone from insurance
