Commencing on 12 October by telephone from USA and continuing by email and telephone from USA and SA, I have been unable to get any human or technical response to repeated requests concerning accounts for un-ordered or used Roaming Charges, and subsequent cellphone partial blocking and disabling. This is a Business Contract at nearly R1000 pm, and I have been an MTN customer since cellphones were introduced in SA in 1990s, and have travelled internationally almost every year, never with high roaming charges. My emails and calls to 083 1800 all give me different reference nos. (about 6 so far) but not actual response nor assistance. My phone is partially blocked, there are R10 000 of unused and unwanted roaming services on my account, and my business suffers from the blocking. I visited MTN Canal Walk before leaving in September and followed their instructions to minimise roaming charges. SO ANOTHER LOUD COMPLAINT AGAINST MTN TO ADD TO THE 11990 ALREADY LOGGED ON YOUR SYSTEM IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.
