Failing to activate a data card

I signed for a special Cell C 12 month data contract with MWEB. The card was delivered on 2013/11/11.

The following day I phoned the Technical support to request the activation of my card. After providing them with all the necessary details, I was informed that I was not on their system. I was transferred to the sales department. After spending 15 minutes at the sales department, I was transferred back to the technical support. After providing them with all the information they requested, they couldn't activate my card. I was promised that it will be working within the next two hours.

After 6 hours, I realised that the card was still not active, I phoned MWEB again and nobody could help.

I am stuck with a useless data card which I have to pay for at the end of the month.

I have spent more that R40 phoning MWEB without any results.
