Paying for service that does not work

I went into a telkom store for a modem as i wanted to get connected to the internet. I bought the modem, was not asked if i could install it, and took it home in December 2012. I'm paying an extra R270-00 monthly for this, Since then I have phoned the call center every month up to May this year to get connected, each time a different consultant and each time a different story/reason. one said i should buy a dongle, one said i should move my computer nearer to my phone, and so on. Eventually, i decided to just leave it and remain un-connected, as i was getting sick with flustration. i was even phoned from Telkom in August to do a survey, and despite my negative comments, no one has phoned me. i even went onto their site and logged a complaint, still no response. I still pay the extra R270-00 monthly, tried not to pay for one month and my line was disconnected!! Lady at the call center said I should have the extra R270 monthly refunded, but nobody in the huge organisation of telkom seems to care. I do not need to get connected any longer, I need my money refunded for the months.
