Autopage
"LOOKS " written on Service Report

Telecommunications

Phone was bought on a contract agreement from Autopage. The phone (NOKIA N9) was a factory defect. Sim card holder came loose after 6weeks of usage (latent manufacturing defect). The phone was taken in for repairs. Took 7 months to be returned (Autopage kept blaming shipping for 7 months). Autopage requested a pay-in of R300 for repair costs. Upon return, phone was used for only 3 months and then died out completely. Took phone in for repairs again. Collected it after 9 months, not being repaired. The service feedback report came back (attached to the phone) with the following words: "BADLY LIQUID DAMAGE BEHIND LED AND ALL OVER LOOKS ".
How does a service provider, Autopage, whom I pay R375/month for this NOKIA phone write "" on a service report? AUTOPAGE provided this phone and that means that they are claiming that the NOKIA products that they provide are. How does one write on a customer's asset? Where has business ethiquette gone to? To top it all, this is a very senstive issue because of the 24 months that I am contracted to AUTOPAGE, I have only had beneficial use of the phone for 5 months only. The rest of the 19 months, I will be paying for nothing.
