Let's start off with the problem we currently have we reported a slow ADSL line on 26/09/2013.
After countless enquirers we were told it is due to a network failure on Telkom's side.
I have sins been following up this on a regular bases with their Faults department 10217.
Only to get no ETR on this network failure.

Only thing I was told about this is that the Telkom specialists are waiting for this Exchange to be upgraded.
And as far as what I can gather They don't have any ID of when this will happen only that Telkom is busy with Exchange upgrades in South Africa and that all upgrade will be done by 2015
If that is the case it is only logical to stop monitoring the situation and get on with it.
Our business is taking a big hit with your network failure and the longer you take to get the situation under control the more we struggle.
I expect to get answers to this matter. And no more we are not sure. Or let us escalate the mater. I need clear answers and solutions to this problem.
