Double Billing for Changing Numbers

I have been double billed for the month of November for the phone line i had to cancel when moving houses. Also the number was disconnected the day i phoned to arrange moving of my line so i was without a phone for a week. The guy who installed the phone at my new place was very quick. But now i am being charged for both my old and new phone number for the month of November. This is ridiculous, paying for two lines when i only have one.
