Last month i advised a friend Albert to purchase a neotel desktop device from autopage. He got the device & when he got home put it on charge & the battery died within hours, he went back to apc & had to leave the device there were a new battery was fitted in. When he got home, the same story. he went back and advised Andre of the problem &requested either a new device or his money back. He was told that there was no way that he could get his money back & apc was out of stock, he had to drive to midrand to replace the unit. Andre was also very rude to him. He advised Andre that he had no transport, sorry not apc problem, nothing they could do. No he sits with a device that does not work & which has never been activated. he contacted neotel who says that if he cant get to midrand he needs to go to fourways. i logged a complaint on apc website & received a confirmation mail that i would be contacted within 24 hours, never contacted. i contacted your departement that deals with hello peter complaints & explained to a consultant who promised to call me back & get the customer care manager to resolve the query, nothing. Is this the way you treat your customers. Will take this to the NCC.
