I upgraded my phone with Vodacom Direct.. There was a latent defect with the phone. I then phone Vodacom Direct within seven day of receiving the device asking them to pick the device so that I can cancel the contract. This after I had exhausted all options through their various contact centres and outlets to get a replacement phone or even have the phone fixed. They promised to fetch the phone within 4 to 7 work days. Its been over six weeks now and they still have not picked up the phone, and I'm told i cant cancel the contract until the have taken possession of the phone. In the meantime I'm being billed for a device that I havent used. I have been a devoted client of Vodacom for many years but after this incident and hpw i have been trated I'm taking my business elsewhere. They show complete lack of disregard for their clients. Their contact centre cares more about new sales and chasing commission. They dont care about existing clients and about keeping them satisfied. I would appreciate advice from anyone who knows how I can resolve this. my number is 0861 776 729
