Cell C Straight up 100 contract not "Straight up"

Cell phone upgrades should be an exiting time, new phone and new bundles, not for me! after months of struggling with old broken outdated phones we "me and my wife" finally got the opportunity to upgrade our phones, we opted to go all out and were very interested in the straight up 100 contract offered by cell c, the advertisement shows 100 min, 100 sms and 1 GB data. so we went to makro and went trough the process of upgrading "I must say Makro was wonderful". Next morning I checked my balance and found no 1 GB data, I phoned the customer care line and after a huge hassle "4 phone calls" was told that a portion of the 1GB data was promotional and would only kick in on the 27 Feb 2014, that's next year. what! I'm paying for a service that I'm not going to get for 4 months. I finally decided to return to makro where I was welcomed and relaxed, they called on my behalf to try and sort this out. On Monday 4/11/13 they phoned me and told me that the portion of data that I didn't get was "free" data and paying R389 per month its not like im paying for something and not getting. again not as advertised. I have read all the terms and conditions, cell c false advertising and bad form
