Cell C
False Advertizing

In Cell C's most recent advertisement booklet (pg 9), a contract for the Nokia Lumina 520 is advertised including 50 minutes talk time, 50 sms/mms and 1GB of data. Wanting to upgrade my expired contract to this, I was told that the data is supplied on a memory stick, and that only 50MB of the data comes on the phone. The advertisement however makes no mention of this.
This is false advertising, and is not permitted under the consumer protection act. Cell C's refusal to acknowledge this is ridiculous, and frankly is against the law. You cannot advertise something and not provide the advertised service!
If Cell C does not commit to its advertisement, I will be cancelling my contract, and urge all other prospective customers to go to another network.
