Virgin Mobile just ignores my cancellation reques

My wife gave notice of cancellation on your Website on 05 Aug. It was done in this way because your call centre did not answer the telephone.
Emails were then sent to Thami Shezi without any reply.
The debit order kept going off my bank account on 01 Sept, 01 Oct and now again on 01 Nov.
This morning after your 0741000123 number was again not working i went into one of your outlets. Only to discover that the cancellation request was requested by Thami on 03 Oct (almost a month after it was requested on your website) BUT nothing was actioned - the contract is still active.
The lady then called and after about 10 minutes got to speak to someone. She spoke to Lerato and after much effort, she got them to immediately cancel the contract BUT
I was then told that the debit order will still go through my account with the last one on 01 Jan 2014.
HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY THAT AFTER WE TRIED TO CANCELL IT TELEPHONICALLY BUT THERE WAS JUST NO ANSWER, WE THEN WENT ONTO YOUR WEBISTE ON 05 AUG, THIS WAS IGNORED, OUR EMAILS WERE IGNORED THAT YOU STILL WANT TO TAKE OUR MONEY AS IF OUR FIRTS EFFORT WAS TODAY.
Please let me know if you are going to cancel the debit order and refund me.
