I contacted 8ta telephonically in regards to my cancellation of my contract. They gave me a email address aswell as a fax nr to send my letter of cancellation to. I have done both. My contract expired on 13 June 2013. I notified them on 2 May 2013. After a few days I phoned to ask if they received my request and they said that it take up to 20 days to cancel the contract. The cancellation department will phone me to confirm. I phoned about 10 times after the 20 day period and still the answer was the cancellation department will be in contact with me. I have logged a request and the lady promised me to sort it out as I would like to port my number. I am awaiting on 8ta so that I can get a new contract from another service provider. I went to visit 8ta stores and their response was... please phone our call centre. I also asked the lady to confirm that my last debit order will go off 01 July and she did, but the contract is still active!!! I will not pay any account that I receive from 8ta other than the1 thats due for today!!
