World call voucher not working

On Saturday I bought two Telkom world call vouchers and when I wanted to use them I was told that the numbers are not active yet. I phoned Telkom's help desk and they tell me the numbers will only be active tomorrow morning?!
How the do you sell voucher numbers that's not active?! I basically paid for something that I'm not getting. This is not right and! When I buy something I want to use it right away because I need it right away.
