Late September I attempted to download my statement from the Vodacom website and was surprised to not be able to log on. When I was unable to log on, I attempted to re-send my password and was instead informed that my details were sent - to a number I did not recognise. I contacted Vodacom who advised that they would resolve the matter and was surprised to still experience the same problem on Friday, 1st November! This annoyed me more because my details are being sent out to a number I have no knowledge of, when the society we operate in is so corrupt! Vodacom is sharing my details with someone I don't know, which is nonsense to say the least. What's worse is them not even taking this matter seriously enough to rectify it, a month later! If you cannot keep to basic requirements of protecting our personal information how can we trust your ability to secure our calls, sms's etc? Contrary to my last report on Vodacom, this time you failed in a major way. Can put this type of security breach as the worst I have been exposed to, by any service provider, EVER. Moemish of the year for me!
