I have ported from Vodacom to Cell C. I called in a week prior the port to find out what Vodacom would need - since i was out of contract, no cancellation or notice period required -so i was told. Since the port last night, i called in to cancel today and "Faith" said she could still see that the port was pending (i was on the new network already??) and that she couldnt cancel but would request for my number to be converted to pre-paid and that i had to give 30 days notice. I asked why because i dont know what the process is and Faith decided to be be rude because i was questionning the reasoning. I asked for Faiths manager and she said" no, im not transferring you" i asked for her surname and she said " i wont give it to you" Infact faith said" let me talk and then you can argue when im done" and then she let me hold on for a while... saying a distant hello every now and again- Really Vodacom? is this what the consumer has to deal with? Not Acceptable!
