I went to the store to choose a phone for my upgrade that was due. I was told that i had already chosen my new phone and it was in the process of being dispatched and would be delivered that afternoon. I had done no such thing and am a victim of. As much as I told them I had not authorised any such upgrade the Consultant kept asking me if I was sure. He was terribly rude to me, unhelpful with no sense of urgency and an awful attitude. I have received no feedback Vodacom. When I went onto Hellp Peter, I see there are other complaints so there is obviously a serious problem. I called in myself (after the store couldnt help me and told me to go to the police station to write an affidavit that i hadnt organised this upgrade-THAT WAS DONE IN JHB WHEREAS I LIVE IN CAPE TOWN!) and i managed to track down the actual address the phone was being delivered to that afternoon, so i now even know where this lives. I have received no feedback from vodacom- i have been a customer of theirs for 13 years! I will be cancelling my contract after this mess is sorted out. Vodacom needs to review their upgrade processes. What utter disappoiontment.
