Cancelled and been given up... Pathetic

I have recieved a contract one contract from 8ta about 2 years ago and the phone and sim was lost/ around 6 months after I got it. I didnt stop paying it as I could not send it back to be cancelled so I decided to pay until the contract was finished. I called in September 2013 and found out that I had just paid my last installment and the contract was done. So I asked if they could stop it and the lady said I must fill in a form and send it in, which i have done. The next month I get an SMS from NUDEBT for the R180 to be paid in my account so they can take it for telkom. Now I have called and the one lady said it was on my ID number that I want it cancelled but still nothing. Called again and another RUDE lady said she saw nothing on my name for cancellation and put the phone down in my ear. They told me to go to the nearest store to cancell it which is over 200km away, I am not that rich to just ride 200km to cancel a contract and been given up to lawyers or whoever NUDEBT is, is very unprofessional. I want this sorted out ASAP. Shane
