Telephone in for service for 9 weeks already

Good day I am reporting this on behalf of my parents. They handed in their Samsung mobile phone at MTN Laguna Mall for the 9th time!! 9 weeks ago. They go back weekly and the responses differ each week - from ''we don't know what's happening" to the latest (1 1/2 weeks ago) "your phone is on its way"!! They are still waiting for the phone!! The problem with the phone is it switches off by itself and when anybody tries to contact them they get the voicemail. The first time around, the supplier said there is nothing wrong with the phone and also the 7 times after that. They didn't want to replace the phone even though it is under contract, their reason: MTN will loose!! What about the money my parents are losing (they have to pay the full contract each month, even though they've been using an older phone for the past 2 months!) Eventually they sent the phone to their head office and on Friday 25/10/13 it's been away for 9 weeks!! Please, my parents are senior citizens and they don't deserve the treatment they're getting from this suppliers. Thank you. Gretel Jansen van Rensburg
