Vodacom lets you down, once again

Why does the personal hotspot on the ipad not work when using a vodacom sim and data package??? My local vodashop tells me that when they enquired vodacom told them that they were still testing the feature. This is exceptionally poor, could someone from vodacom please comment as this seems to be a countrywide problem.
