My account was suspended becaues I missed one payment. I paid the next day and was told my sim would be switched back on the next day.. it's been a whole week now. When ever I go to the store to ask them what's going on they tell me it will be on the next day.
When taking out the contract at MTN I was told that if you miss 3 months of payments then only they suspend your sim card. I can understand that part of my complaint is mainly down to the staff not explaining it properly, but to take so long to re-activate the sim (after I payed one day late) is just showing they don't care.
Now I can see why there are so many complaints about MTN customer service.
And phoning their customer care doesn't help at all, that's if they ever answer, every time I stay on hold for around 10mins with the same 2 ads playing :(
