Approximately the beginning of this year I was approached telephonicly for a Telkom residential line. I advised that I might be interested. I was advised that I would be informed once everything had been set up and then they would obtain confirmation and my line would be activated. Someone came out to my home while I was at work according to my helper and that was the end of it. I never heard anything from Telkom until I received a call say 2 months later regarding an overdue account. Imagine my surprise when I did not even know that the line was installed and active. I informed them about what had transpired. I furthermore advised them that I no longer wanted the line in view of how the whole matter was handled. The person confirmed that the whole matter has been resolved and finalised. Well, imagine my surprise when I just applied for car finance now to be advised that my Telkom account is poorly conducted and has not been paid for a few months. This is totally unacceptable and I would appreciate this matter being investigated and resolved asap, I have been trying the Telkom General Enquiries and Complaints line which rings without being answered. I do not even have a Telkom num
