I did a contract upgrade on the 22.06.2013 and on the 24.06.2013 sent a letter to cancel the contract. On the 26 received feedback that someone from retentions will call me which never happened.
Returned the handset sealed to Game store 30.06.2013 and the voucher and I was told I ought to have done so within 7 days at it was on day 09. I told the lady that I was out of town and have send an email request to cancel. I am now told story after story between trade partner, game and cell c.
I told Cell C that I sent the email to them because I have a contract with them not trade partner. The response has not been forthcoming and being now told that the contract cannot be cancelled as it has 22 month remaining when my request was before the contract started. What recourse does one have or should I just cancel the debit order from the bank?
