Closure of Contract

I have a contract with cell c (Kenny Baloi) and I sent an email on the 2013.10.14 to request the cancellation of the contract effective the 2013.11.04. I received an automated maessage saying they will come back to me in the next 24-72 hours. Even to this minute I have not receive a phone call or even a reply. My wife called in numerous time as she is the one using the number of 074 298 9015. I can not call in as I am using a vodacom number. My wife was told that the contract department opens at 8am and closes at 5pm. How can a service provider have that kind of operating hours? Please can I URGENTLY get feedback on the cancellation of my contract on the 2013.11.04 and please do not come up with stories that -0 no we can not cancel the contract due to...- I need feedback today.
