Private calls messing with my life!!!

I have been getting calls from a private number for over two weeks now every second of the day. it is becoming a problem cannot even sleep at night with the disturbance. i have contacted mtn with my problem and was told that they cannot help me trace the number and that i would have to go to the police open a case and they will contact mtn with regards to my complaint. i have been to the police station but was told that is a network related query and can only assist in a matter of a criminal offense. i was told to contact my network provider again because they are the only people who have the means to help me. i called mtn again today and even after explaining the situation was told yet again that nothing can be done. your assistance will be highly appreciated. i know that you do have the means to help me its just a matter of wanting to
