I have been having a problem for the past 4 months.
I receive calls from random people and numbers stating that I had called them and whether or not I am from African Bank. I contacted the call center for MTN for several times now and they kept on giving me the run around. They advised me to open a case against the callers in order for the police to track where the diverts are from the which my number is linked because they can't assist me or have access. I then went to the police station but I was advised that MTN should be able to track where the calls are coming from and that my case was not a criminal matter because I wasn't threatened by any of this. I called the call center again and they still sent me to the police station. I am now fed up as I understand that the service provider should be responsible for my services and not the police. I will be leaving this network as they have the worst of service and I still get more than 10 calls a day from people saying that I called them when i haven't.
