Been a Vodacom customer for about 15 years. Did an upgrade a week ago and got the Samsung s4. I would keep losing connection. I phoned 082 111. Checked my sim card and said it was active so it must be a problem with the phone. Went to Eastgate branch on Sunday 20.10. Staff told me she could do nothing and that I must go to the repair centre. I asked her to check the sim as it has been giving problems since day 1. Apparently she cant do that. Went upstairs to the repair centre and they were not open at 10h00. Eventually at 10h20 the guys arrived. While explaining my problem to the young man, he decided that answering his phone and having, what must have been a very funny conversation, with one of his friends was more important than the irritating customer standing in front of him. He also did nothing to assist and told me to hand in the phone for repairs. I asked him to check the sim first. He told me they have to do it down stairs. Needless to say that when I went back down they once again said they cant help me because they are a franchise. I had to go to Samsung Vodaworld. Sam put in his own sim card and noticed that LTE needs to be activated on my SIM. Problem was fixed in 2 min.
