I upgraded my contract to a samsung galaxy s4 on 11October2013 via Vodacom online services. On Tuesday my phone was delivered... except it was not the white galaxy I wanted, but a galaxy s4 zoom (on an aside - calling 2 different products an almost identical name?) I contacted them within an hour to log a complaint (request number: s3-t3b8t-tzco).

They have not yet collected the incorrect handset, nor made any arrangements to bring me the correct handset yet OF COURSE have charged me R499 for the new contract.

The call centre can not provide any info as to when this will be resolved, when I called on tues, wed, Thursday and today. The website is equally as unhelpful. It would have been quicker, less expensive (yet probably equally as frustrating) to go into a shop and deal with an agent.

I just want feedback as to when this will be resolved, which it don't think is that much to ask for considering I have been a loyal customer for over 13 years, with all my contracts (phone, tablet and laptop) with vodacom. Considering number porting is available easily, I will be thinking very carefully about staying with vodacom, especially as their deals aren't very competitive anyway
