Overcharged on bill and cannot resolve

Recently due to financial woes bills were paid late. The last MTN bill was not tying up with our usage, instead of billing total of 2 phones, they have added almost R2 000.00 more. There is also an overdue amount of almost R500 and that I asked for proof, I think that this was due to us closing one of the contracts and was residual

I called customer service, (misnomer in their case), I was put through to a young man, Lesego. I explained my situation and he tried to tell me that because I went from debit order to cash payment, I was one month behind and had to pay upfront, absolute rubbish... not a difference of R2000. The monthly invoice amounts of the 2 contracts has been paid. This is where we had a difference of opinion because if you cannot show me on paper where the additional charges arise, I will not pay. he was only reading the statement on the system and was arguing his side. Eventually he got frustrated and then got rude... "I have been speaking to you for half an hour and cannot get through to you, I am only telling you one more time", and "let me speak to your son, maybe he can get through to you" Unacceptable.

Sent mail through last week and still waiting.
