8ta charging for ghost service

I received a billing statement from Telkom mobile for my 8ta contract. i reviewed the charges billed on the statement and noticed that i had, for months, been charged for a service that i haven't used since February 2013. That service is BIS (Blackberry Internet Service).
My query with 8ta and Telkom Mobile is why they would charge a consumer for a service that they haven't utilized in months?
When they check services used and compile charges, do they just add up any ghost costs that they feel that a consumer should pay for even though that consumer doesn't use it.
How can they justify making me pay for a service that I don't enjoy under their Network?
