3G Signal pathetic, no WCDMA, only EDGE or nothing

My 3G signal does not connect to WCDMA as per my contract with Mweb. I can connect to a VERY SLOW EDGE only and some days I cannot connect at all!!! The problem has been ongoing for about two years and Mweb log case number after case number without ever resolving or addressing the problem. Between the technical dept, billing and sales depts they eventually persuaded me to upgrade to a new faster modem which entailed signing a new 2 year contract in August. Needless to say that the service is as bad or worse than before. I immediately and ongoing since then have been threatening to cancel the contract but due to being ignored and the problem not being escalated to the correct persons, I now have told them to cancel my contract immediately! Colette Bristow from the billing department responded after more that a week that 'they are sorry to hear about my problems, but seeing as I am under contract, I will have to pay R1890.00 to cancel the contract'.
I am furious!! They have the cheek to offer NO RESOLUTION WHATSOEVER and accept no responsibility for providing a pathetic service, banking on a contract that I was coerced into!! The least they can do is INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM!!!
