3 WEEKS NO RESPONSE FROM ALTECH. APPALING AFTER SA

After 3 weeks of back and forth communication with the repair centre no one has bothered to contact me back from Altech head office despite been sent and copied in mails. My Blackberry that was still under warranty was sent away for 6 weeks to the repair centre. I was then contacted to say I could collect my phone. Apon arrival they advised me that the phone was beyond economical repair and that the phone could be used as a book mark. Apparently the phone had corrosion on the circuit board and was not covered under the warranty and could not be fixed. I was then advised that the store has an in store technician and It could be fixed for between R 200 and R 500. When I queried what this could be caused from the list was endless and they have themselves very well covered against virtually everything, a very easy way out. I decided to take the matter further; however this didn't help as no one responds from the Altech H/O. Even though they are a provider how can they sell a product that can't withstand the 2 year period of the contract. All I wanted was my phone fixed it's not like I'm asking for a new one.
