I am immigrating at the end of October and thus wanted to cancel my contract with Altech Autopage. I was informed that I need to give a months notice and pay the required settlement fee in order for this request to be done at the end of October. I paid the required fees but informed them that I need to use the phone until the end of October which I paid for in advance anyway. I did not give them permission to cancel my SIM card or anything else.
To my surprise, i find out a few hours later that my SIM card was cancelled, my number and everything that goes with it cannot be used.
I immediately called the customer service on Friday 4 October and informed them of this error of there's and they told me that they would deactivate my SIM card in 24 hours. I waited the entire weekend with this promise not been carried out. I called again on Monday, 7 October and again was promised that the SIM card would be deactivated within 24 hours. Again nothing was done. I called on Tuesday, 8 October and yet again was told that it would be reactivated within 24 hours. This was not done.
I called again this morning, 9 October. Again, I was told it would be resolved and yet again nothing was done
