Vodacom cannot get porting right

I took out a contract with Vodacom 1 month ago and requested that my current virgin mobile pre paid number be ported onto the Vodacom network. 1 month later, nothing has happened, my Vodacom sim card is not active and my number has not been moved. It also seems that no-one in the entire organisation can help me. The call centre claims that it has no record of the transaction and refuses to give out the details of the port department, the Vodacom store at Sandton is inept at best, criminally negligent at worst. It seems Vodacom has made enough money and simply does not want any new customers. What shocking service.
