I have just recently moved residence and although I have notified Telkom of this twenty days in advance it doesn't seem to have made any difference in how quickly it gets done.
I am now already living in my new home for two weeks and I still have no telephone and therefore also no internet. In addition, they only switched off my line at the old house a week after I'd already moved and a new resident had moved in.
I've not heard from them and I've called Telkom twice, once waiting on the line for twenty minutes. No one can give me any indication when I will get my working phone line.
I find this all very interesting how they cannot set up my phone line but they can still remember to send me bills.
