Continous Billing After Cancellation

On the 14th of May 2013 i sent telkom a written instruction to cancel my connection (business landline). On or about the 6th of October i attended at the Pavillion Branch of Telkom and aasked to speak to someone regarding the connection because i was still being billed. They contacted the call centre for and after holding for 10 minutes the lady told me that my cancvellation had been sent to the incorrect department, notwithstanding that the email address i had been given was from a Telkom consultant. They werent very helpful there so i went to the Gateway branch on Sunday and after applying got teh Samsung Tablet one of the consultants lodged a grievance on my behalf ataching the written instruction sent on the 14th of May. On the 7th of May i was advised by the sales person at Telkom Gateway that my application would not be approved unless i paid the R870, 00 which is the rental plus interest for my connection for four months and besides that it is still active. I sent another email to the grievance department and have not recieved response to date. So in order for me to get approval i need to pay R870, 00 but that does not solve the issue ofr continous billing. When will it end!
