Incorrect billing. Just pay up and shut up

I have a top up account for my daughter. She normally gets a voice bundle update SMS at the start of each month. Nothing came thru for step or Oct. she cannot make phone calls, "insufficient airtime". Impossible! Having spoken to the 808 number this morning, calls are registered on the system as having been made this morning when the phone was off/inactive. These apparent calls do not appear on the phone call Log either. So this number is being billed and in want it corrected immediately. Service via the call centre was appalling and uncooperative. I then visited the Mtn Morningside branch, system was offline and unable to help me at all. I am irate and want this sorted immediately without involving me having to waste my valuable time. I have not managed to get a reference number yet and was told I need to wait for the 26th of the month for the completion of the billing cycle to get an itemized bill. In the meantime just pay up. Not acceptable MTN
