I bought a 24GB Bundle from Cell C Menlyn on the 23rd September 2013 for R1999. Lerato Matsasa was the salesperson and she checked the dongle on the store's computer. It did not work so she said not to worry it was just the signal in the store, I should take it home and it will work. I did and it did not. I returned to Cell C Menlyn and explained my dilemma. James tried to help us but after 40 minutes of sitting there without any solutions, we asked them to refund us. James said the manager was sick and there were no managers in store to do the refund. After complaining for a further 15 minutes, suggesting different options of us getting our money back, James said that we could fill in a refund form and assured us it would be done the next day. After a few days we received nothing and called again. They gave us endless excuses and said they would follow up and call us back. Nobody did and it is now two weeks later and Cell C has our money and their faulty dongle. I have tried calling people higher up than the managers but no one seems to help or think its their problem. I am going to make a police case against them tomorrow and also call the ombudsman as this is blatant thievery.
