Waiting 6 weeks on a phone in for repairs

On 16 August 2013 I took my Samsung Galaxy S2 in for repairs at the Sandton City shop. This was the second time I'd booked in my phone in less than three months. The first time was incredibly frustrating that I eventually had to call in every other day to track progress to which I got arrogant responses that they knew their job and the phone would be in my possession in good time. Needless to say, I only got the phone about four weeks later than the 21 day average turnaround.

With my experiences from the first repair drama I ensured I gave the sales guy all the details they would possibly need to effect the repair timeously. Two weeks later I received a call from your call center that a quote for the repairs was ready, which frustrated me because I gave all the CCover details and didn't expect to be involved once again. I submitted the documents anyway on the 30th of August.By Monday the 3rd of September I received another call from the call center that everything was in order and I should receive my phone within a week, two at the most. Today is over 3 weeks from the '2 weeks at most'.

The shop never ever has loan phones. Cell C is breaking new ground in poor customer service.
