Bad service on contract insurance

Have had my contract for more than 8 years, since 2005 and not once did I claim a cent on the insurance which I always had for the period in question.
2. My account was debited for the said contract on Wednesday 25 September 2013 R242.40 and I lost my phone the following Saturday 28 September 2013. Why can I not claim on my insurance if the month was not even out yet. Is the account not paid in advance and valid for the month of September?
3. I have had no confirmation that my phone has indeed been blacklisted, can you confirm this?
4. Please advise the correct person to speak to perhaps on a landline number in order for me to sort out this problem.
