On 31 July 2013 I signed a 24 month contract for a 2 GIG MTN broadband service. Every month so far (August and September) I "ran" out of data and was charged for out of bundle costs. this was suprizing as I do not use so much data.

This month I made a conscious effort to monitor my data usage and use it sparingly. I recieved my data bundle on 21 Sept and as of today (30 September) Mtn informs me I only have 715 mb left. this is impossible as between my ipad and iphone I only used about 200 mb! Previously with 8ta a gig would comfortably last me a month.

I phoned mtn service centre to query this and the lady at the call centre said I have 2.7 gigs which is impossible as I was charged out of data last month so there was none left. as a third attempt to get a correct answer answer I emailed and was told 715 mb.

Further to this on 19 September I asked for an itemised billing for August 2013 to check why I was out of data... its costs in or about R18 and they promised I would have it between 2 -24 hrs... I am still waiting for the itemised billing, although I am sure I will have to pay for it.
I am being robbed of data. I am sorely dissapointed in mtn.
